The Calgary Stampeders have signed defensive tackle Bryan Hall.

The 28-year-old from Carbondale, Ill., played for the Toronto Argonauts in 2016 after two seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Hall had 33 tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble in 17 games for the Argos. He totaled 69 tackles, seven sacks and a pair of forced fumbles during his two seasons in Hamilton.

The six-foot-one, 295-pounder out of Arkansas State played in five NFL games with the Baltimore Ravens prior to his arrival in the CFL.

  1. The Stamps always fly under the radar but are solid. They just have to figure out away to win their last game of the year.

decent signing, nothing earth shattering ,a sign that brandon beadreax will not be back.I believe Stamps will take the loss last year and use as a learning tool/motivation

and I thought stampland claims the stamps always develop from within their own org. NOT!!! They take FA’s just like everyone else.

we pick up a few very low profile guys ,that come cheap…big difference to jones trolling for leftover players

  3. Stamps are the class of the CFL… they are perennial contenders and have won their share of GCs… their coaching is always solid but what sets them apart is their recruiting… they always manage to find the right pieces to the puzzle… and have a history of signing great QBs…

As a Hamilton fan… I hoped the Ticats would model themselves after the Stamps… and it’s nice to see another ex-Ticat signing with the Stamps…

    Cheers… Snake

  4. Stamps may be a class act, a may be considered elite if they could win in the playoffs, but their fans leave much to be desired. Been at a few games at McMahon and better to not wear your colors if you don’t want unsolicited threats. Been to games in BC too, in colors, and never have any issues. Says a lot.

ladd law. Ive been a season ticket holder in Calgary for 25 years. The only rider fans that get trouble are those seeking it.I know so many stamps fans that will not bring their children to games due to safety concerns.Beer can being thrown only happen when rider fans are there and fights/police incidents are highly elevated when riders are in town (and this includes labor day)
