Bombers close to extending American offensive lineman
Winnipeg is close to agreeing to terms with offensive lineman Manase Foketi on a two-year contract extension, per sources.
The West Texas A&M product was a healthy scratch for all eighteen regular season games in 2017 after appearing in three contests as a rookie.
Winnipeg started three internationals along the offensive line this past season and recently re-signed all-star right tackle Jermarcus Hardrick to a one-year contract worth approximately $100,000.
This leaves reigning Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman Stanley Bryant (left tackle) and 2016 all-star Travis Bond (left guard) without deals for 2018.
